There’s a light that shines

out of the depth of everything.

It blossoms in the void,

and with it comes darkness.

From the bare rock it draws itself

and eyes begin looking upon eyes.

There’s a light that shines,

now and never,

and as the eyes gaze upon themselves,

they find beauty in being.

But echoes of light get trapped

in the chamber of mirrors

and through the fog of echoes,

the eyes can barely see.

There’s a light that shines

out of the depth of everything,

and through the fog

it may yet bring

beauty.
